Mark Bamat was born and raised in State College, graduating from State College Area High School in 2006. He attended Johnson & Wales University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree as a University Honor's Scholar. Mark has worked the majority of his career in hospitality operations. Now the Vice President of GB Accounting Services, Mark helps small businesses grow and succeed in Centre County. During his time in hospitality operations, he was able to move between Rhode Island, Connecticut and North Carolina, but is now back in his home town of State College. State College offers him the benefits of the outdoors with a variety of other activities throughout the State College community. He is also an active member of the State College Downtown Rotary Club, a service organization that helps non-profit efforts here in centre county as well as abroad. Mark is committed to working with the State College Young Professionals and CBICC Connect organization to better interact and work with the Young Professionals in the Centre County area. He was given the "Friend of the Chamber" award from the CBICC in 2016.
